Will Never Be

She thought his hugs meant something.

But he hugs everyone.

She thought his eyes watching her meant something.

He was just spaced out.

She thought their hands touching meant something.

They were just praying.

She thought she meant something to him.

But to him, she was just another girl.

Just another face in the sea of people.

She meant nothing to him.

But once he meant nothing to her not even God could help him.

 God knew this boy didn’t deserve her.

He never deserved her time, her admiration, or her love.

It will never be. It was never him.
